Educational Outreach
Merryspring Nature Center
KLCBee has partnered with the Merryspring Nature Center with the purpose of the partnership is to educate the public both young and old to learn about bee keeping and which plants they can grow to support pollinators.
KLCBee will have school children build and paint the hives teaching them valuable skills and teamwork. There also will be programs for adults and children to see beekeeping in action and talk to experts.
KLCBee will also have open hive days at Merryspring and a local team of KLCB members will care for the hives.
